After Highschool I decided to visit a School of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, Germany (P.ART). It was 1993 and I realized, this is what I love to do. But I also realized, this is not, what I wanna do for living. It seemed impossible for me to be creative for money and timelines, and somehow it still is. 

 

Since that time I travel around the world and visited more then 50 countries. More will come. After starting working as a Marketing Director for an online Fine Art Auction platform, I realized how much I was missing my own ventile of creativity. So I started painting again and combined both passions of mine.

My voyages, trips, visits in other countries and cultures are my inspiration. Closing my eyes, thinking of what I have seen, what I have explored and survived, creates my piece of art. Mostly I use acrylic colors, but also wax crayon, wires or oil.

 

Most of my masterpieces are created outdoors by using my mobil easel. I love to smell the trees, flowers, green around me, feeling the sun and wind. It helps me to remember my feelings and impressions of a country or certain landscape. My paintings do not show the actual environment, it is more about my personal impression, the footprint, this memory has left. 

 

So each of my art works is unique and personal to me. Sometimes people feel the same, but sometimes it also opens their eyes to see, what I felt in a country, they know.
